Have you passed selection for a doctoral degree? Now is the time to complete your matriculation and formalize your entry into our academic community. In this section you will find all the information you need to proceed correctly and on time.

Enrollment Process 

If you have been admitted to the PhD program, you must complete your enrollment within the deadlines specified in the official call for applications. Enrollment is mandatory in order to confirm your place in the program and officially become part of the University’s academic community.

Eligibility

Only candidates who have successfully passed the selection process are eligible to enroll in the PhD program, regardless of whether they have been awarded a scholarship. Enrollment is conditional upon holding a second-level qualification (a Master’s degree or an equivalent international degree), obtained by the deadline stated in the official announcement.

Enrollment Procedures

Enrollment must be completed online through the Student Portal (Restricted Area). Candidates will be required to upload the following documents: 

  • Personal ID
  • Academic transcripts and degree certificates 
  • Proof of eligibility (as specified in the call)
  • Any documents relating to scholarships, funding, or additional benefits

International Candidates 

Candidates holding degrees issued by non-Italian institutions must provide one of the following documents: 

  • A Declaration of Value
  • A Diploma Supplement
  • A CIMEA certification

Conditional Enrollment

Candidates who have not yet completed their Master’s degree may enroll conditionally, provided they meet the specific conditions and timelines indicated in the call for applications. Failure to meet these conditions will result in loosing of the obtained position.

After enrolling, one acquires the status of a doctoral student. The three-year course involves research activities, training, mobility and annual verification of results. All information is regulated by the Doctoral Regulations.
