Global Processes, Rights and Cultures in the Contemporary

The PhD in International Studies promotes an international and interdisciplinary approach to the analysis of global phenomena in modern and contemporary contexts. The program builds on the scientific and cultural profile of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (DSUS), encouraging dialogue across diverse disciplinary fields and methodological perspectives.

The teaching and research structure of the program integrates contributions from multiple disciplines, ensuring coherence between the overall scientific framework of the doctorate and its pedagogical design. The program is grounded in the belief that a plurality of perspectives is essential for a critical and informed understanding of contemporary global processes, both in the short and long term.
